A Little Bit About Me…

I’ve been building websites and developing marketing and social media strategies for small businesses and non-profit organizations since 2005. In the summer of 2010, I identified what seemed to me a critical need in a growing market and launched a hyper-local media site for parents in Huntsville, AL, and surrounding areas. The site currently boasts 200,000 page views a month from 50,000+ unique visitors and in June of 2015 an accompanying mobile app was launched in partnership with the Huntsville/Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

My Skills

Social media and the world of online marketing moves at a rapid pace. If a business wants to thrive in that environment its marketing must always be evolving. This usually means learning new programs and developing new skills under tight deadlines. Over the last several years I’ve gone from being a blogging novice who’d never sent a tweet, to speaking (as a pro!) at local and regional conferences about my success as an online entrepreneur and social media strategist. It is that experience which has allowed me to keep up with the only constant in social media marketing – change.
